The LiveAquaria® CCGC Blast Aquacultured Coral Frag Pack (Various sp.), offers hobbyists a way to enhance their reef aquarium with a collection of premium coral frag specimen that will add visual interest and beauty with their intense color and unique shapes. What sets this 3-pack apart is that all corals have light green centers what will display as blasts of light wherever they are placed, giving your reef aquarium a vibrancy when illuminated with moderate to high lighting. Additional interest is added with movement created by a medium to strong waterflow.

The LiveAquaria® Certified Captive Grown Coral Blastomussa Merletti (Blastomussa merletti), is a premium choice for LPS (Large Polyp Stony) Coral collectors. With polyps resembling large fleshy discs, the green centers look like flashes of lightening that contrast with the red highly textured corallites. To bring out the most intense coloration of this coral, we recommend metal halide lighting and placement between the middle or lower areas of the aquarium.

Resembling a fluorescent green bouquet of flowers, the LiveAquaria® CCGC Green Goniopora Coral (Goniopora sp.) is a ball-shaped variety that will make a dynamic addition to your reef aquarium. This flowery coral is also referred to as Flowerpot Coral, Daisy Coral, Ball Coral, or Sunflower Coral and should be placed within the top to middle portions of the home aquarium.

The LiveAquaria® CCGC Blue Spruce Caulastrea Coral (Caulastrea furcate), is an LPS coral that has a mottled surface of blended blue and green shades and a green to neon green center. It is also known as a Bullseye, Candy, or Trumpet Coral. To bring out the most intense coloration of this coral, we recommend metal halide lighting and placement between the middle or lower areas of the aquarium.

The corals in this pack require a moderate care level and are semi-aggressive, so should be spaced out to allow for future growth and so they cannot touch other corals. The ideal environment for these aquacultured coral frags is an established reef aquarium with coral friendly fish and invertebrates. Water temperatures should be maintained at 72°-78° F, pH levels of 8.1-8.4, a dKH level of between 8-12, and salinity within the range of 1.022-1.025. They require the addition of supplemental calcium, strontium, magnesium, iodine, and other trace elements to the water.

This 3-pack ships from our LiveAquaria® Wisconsin Facility, home of our LiveAquaria® Certified Captive Grown Corals. These specimens received the highest level of care from our experienced and professional LiveAquaria® staff, who will hand select premium corals for you. Aquacultured corals reduce the impact of natural collection, and because they are grown in captivity, are accustomed to a home aquarium.

The symbiotic algae zooxanthellae hosted within the coral’s bodies provide the majority of their nutritional requirements from the algae's light driven process of photosynthesis but will benefit from the addition of foods designed for corals and invertebrates.

The corals in this pack are mounted on small ceramic plugs that can be placed easily and securely in or between rockwork in the reef aquarium.
